Training

Training
Crucible administers a pre-deployment curriculum designed by Department of State/INL. The curriculum changes as INL determines new requirements based on various mission experiences, threat assessments and particular mission focus.
Many advisors submit the hourly breakdown of pre-deployment training (provided to each advisor by Crucible) for in-service credit(s) awarded by their respective agencies. Training is also entered into their professional training records. Advisors also submit the information to their state P.O.S.T. commissions and, on a state by state basis, are awarded professional training credit(s).

CJPS UPDATE: On 15 Feb 11, Crucible was awarded a CJPS (Small Business Set Aside) contract. On 28 Feb 11, we were notified of a "stay of performance" due to multiple protests. On 10 Mar 11, we were notified of a "contract suspension" while DoS re-evaluated the proposals. On 7 Jun 11, Crucible was notified that the re-evaluation was complete and that we remained a contract awardee. On 16 Jun 11, we were notified of another "stay of performance" due to another protest. The latest information that we have is that no task orders (large or small) will be issued until GAO resolves the protest. Protest resolution may take up to 100 days.
